Ties of Shooting Stars (Ryuusei no Kizuna) Novel chapters 1 and 2

If you want to be spoiled to what happens to the story, you can check out SARS Fansubs for the JDrama adaptation of the novel. Though it is already apparent in the first two chapters that the JDrama adapation and the novel are told differently. Well, the JDrama adaptation is where I got the interest in working with the original novel translations honestly.
