Since it's been months since we've released ep11, and I for one was not aware that much of a demand for v1s when there are beta versions available in D-Addicts, Subscene, and MediaFire, might as well release ep12v1 finale that has been prepared for months. You can also find in both D-Addicts, Subscene, and MediaFire the beta version subtitles of Koe Girl, Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni 2018, and Code Blue among others that have been released so far if you can't wait for v1 versions. They are intended for those who can't wait. We are perfectionists after all so we prefer releasing v1s when they are ready.

We will eventually work on v2s of the JDrama with the much better raws provided by DragsterPS along with the oneshot Video Girl Ai 2018 manga and hopefully the Blu-Ray Box extras (we're eyeing on buying the Blu-Ray box once the prices go down). If by chance you are interested and can help in pretiming the Blu-Ray box extras of the JDrama, email us at tl.skeweds@gmail.com. I don't know how long that would take given we're really perfectionists and rather release when ready. That's why there are beta versions in the first place so that you can get your fix sooner than later. 

Might as well also ask help for interested cleaners and typesetters for the Video Girl Ai 2018 manga oneshot. Ais is next to working on it solo for now. For the "Extended Trailers", we more or less can work on them since the second trailer is more or less like probably a preview of the first episode and it's not really that difficult to work on. As for the two "Special Programs" about the male cast of the JDrama, there is already a timer working on them. The "image videos" probably doesn't need to be really fully subtitled, just translate the names of the the girls that are cast for each respective role.

Anyway, we would like to ask for interested pre-timers the rest of the raws - the "Full Chorus" episode, "Youtube Live", and the "Thorough Guide". Kindly email us at tl.skeweds@gmail.com if you can help us in pre-timing the videos.

I"s JDrama Trailer

We found someone who is willing to pre-time the I"s male cast special where they talk and drink in Shimokita while discussing some things about the JDrama (where also the manga author, Masakazu Katsura also participated in). Hopefully, we would be able to release that variety talk show type special before the JDrama airs, but I can't promise anything (as it's really a pain to work on variety talk show type stuff).

We're planning on English subtitling I"s JDrama (if all goes well)

 
If you've noticed our Plurk microblog, Twitter, Facebook updates, and the 12th anniversary post recently - yes, we're planning on English subtitling the upcoming I"s JDrama. I've already asked some friends who can record the JDrama for us since it will be broadcasted in a cable TV starting December 21, 2018. But there would first be a behind the scenes broadcast on December 15, 2018, which we also plan to work on (even though it'll probably be a pain to subtitle). Let's hope that there would be Japanese captions in the broadcast (if not for now, at least, let's hope it would also be included in Netflix Japan just like Yowamushi Pedal Live Action series which would eventually have Japanese captions).

For now, since I've got nothing else, I've translated (cleaned, and typesetted) the character correlation chart below:

Actually, I've been timing, doing on and off on my own, the "trailer" of the I"s JDrama special broadcast of "Actors of a Drama drink at Night in the Town of Shimokita" which are available on Youtube (though region locked only to Japan). Been wanting to fansub both the trailer and the special itself for months now, but I really have a lot on my plate and could use help on them. Though again, this is still a big if by chance we fully acquire good quality raws at least, and (it's actually good news but) the JDrama series would not be licensed outside of Japan with English subtitles (just like what happened when we planned to work on Death Note JDrama way back when).

PS: Speaking of Masakazu Katsura, we're currently also scanlating a manga of Masakazu Katsura as a joint with another scanlation group (besides the Video Girl Ai 2018 manga oneshot which I still have to finish cleaning, translating, and typesetting orz).

As for future series projects and status:

• We more or less have announced in our microblog and this D-Addicts post that we are working on the better version of Cheer Dan JDrama. 
• I, Ais, am more or less deciding to entirely ditch our own original encoded releases of Video Girl Ai 2018 JDrama and just use DragsterPS's rips from Amazon Prime Japan. Sorry (but honestly, my encodes sucks anyway). We will release the final batch along with the oneshot manga scanlations.
• Koe Girl is underway as we wait for edits and QCs with our help from CureCom.
• GeGeGe no Kitaro 2007 is also underway as we wait for edits and QCs with our joint group, The Skaro Hunting Society. We also decided that we'll skip straight to ep42-52 after releasing some episodes. We'll explain that when we get there.
• I''s JDrama is more or less decided as I, Ais, have talked to our very generous and awesome raw providers who can record the episodes once they air. Let's hope for captions even if they'll be aired in cable TV.

GeGeGe no Kitaro 2007 - 001v3

It's been almost a decade since we released the hardsubbed v2 of this and finally, we can re-work on this again as Netflix Japan already has episodes 1-52 of this franchise's 2007 version that has Japanese captions! (Was lazy to rip it myself since there were too many but thanks to kitsunekko, who has uploaded all the Japanese captions so far). This is technically v3 but this is the first time it would be released in softsubs from us so I guess you wouldn't know the difference much.

There were quite a lot of stuff that was altered and corrected with this current release since we don't have to translate by ear now. Though there are many things that the former translator of this episode, HyperZeronos (of the now defunct(?) Order of Zeronos) did translated right. Though things like the names of the main characters were changed like how CrunchyRoll is translating the names (though sorry, the translation to "Catchick" is too much, so translated it as "Catgirl").

We are in need of editors and quality checkers for this project. I, Ais, only need to translation check, edit, and QC eps 2-5 & 7 and release them. Have to work on ep6 almost from scratch since I can't seem to find the translations even of that episode. Was surprised ep7 is almost done when the episode before that is. Anyway, if you are interested in editing or qc'ng this title, kindly email us at tl.skeweds@gmail.com.

Let's hope for the best that we'll get to finish around this time. Though rest assured, until episode 52, since there are Japanese captions, is much less painful to work on and can be guaranteed that we will get to work on them.

Who would have thought we'll be working on this spin off web series this early? I honestly didn't LOL I, Ais, was intending to release it first in beta version, but I don't think I've seen any public raws of this. So might as well release them as v1 versions. The same can be said in the Teiichi no Kuni spinoff series which we'll eventually do (hopefully soon when my mountains of to-translate stuff stops piling up).
